Today we received word from Wells Fargo Shareholder Services (Visa’s transfer agent), that Visa has stopped issuing stock certificates.
We’re going to miss them. Visa’s familiar to all of us: the company runs the world’s largest retail electronic payments network, and is one of the best-known global financial services brands. They’re also a big sponsor of the Olympics, and for those of you into real football, a crucial FIFA World Cup partner.

I had thought about getting a Visa stock certificate on and off for quite some time. To late! It is one of only nine, now eight, companies that I do not have that you offer.
A suggestion, you might have more interested “investors” in purchasing a “One Share” of stock in CBRL Group if you would indicate it as “Cracker Barrel”. Although the stock certificate is printed as CBRL Group, it is stamped, “Name changed to Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.”. It is similar to how you list American Airlines. The stock is actually printed as “AMR Corporation”. Just a thought….
Great suggestion — I’ll pass it on. Thanks, Bob!
